You enter the cottage from the gravel and flag stone courtyard into the splendid sitting and dining room with its vaulted ceiling and wooden floors. The exposed grit stone gable wall houses the fireplace and log burning stove. Large French doors lead onto the west facing terrace for evening drinks after a relaxing day. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay. Also on the ground floor is the luxury bathroom with shower over the bath, hand basin and toilet. Stairs from the sitting room lead to the beautiful galleried double bedroom furnished with antique walnut furniture and a king-size bed. Candle Cottage changeover day is Friday - where possible we will try to be flexible. Cranberry Cottage - sleeps 4 Cranberry Cottage is traditional on the outside with a luxury, contemporary interior. It stands at the head of the courtyard. You enter the cottage into a spacious sitting room and dining area, the room has windows on all sides. A picture window in the dining area has views across the courtyard and beyond towards Chatsworth House. The sitting room has a grit stone fireplace with electric fire, the French door leads onto a lovely south facing terrace where you can breakfast in the warm sunshine. Also on the ground floor is the large, well equipped kitchen. The ground floor bathroom is large, light and modern, including a walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet. The stairs lead to the two bedrooms, both with double beds and stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Christmas Cottage - sleeps 4 Christmas Cottage gives you stunning views outdoors with luxury treats indoors. As you enter Christmas Cottage from the courtyard into the spacious sitting room/dining area you will see the large grit stone fireplace, log burning stove and leather sofas. This room enjoys a view of the gardens and in the distance Chatsworth House. There is a well-equipped, open plan kitchen with French doors leading to the east facing terrace, ideal for those alfresco meals. The ground floor bathroom is equipped with shower over bath, washhand basin and toilet. Stairs lead from the sitting room up to the bedrooms, one with a double bed and views over the stables and countryside beyond, the other has two single beds.
