Sit in the peace of the cottage garden in the morning and see the village come awake. Visit the “sell everything” stores, the local dairy and the two village pubs for meals. If you come for a walking holiday then nearby Monsal Dale with its wonderful waterfalls is a must. Chatsworth House, Bakewell, the National Tramway Museum, the Heights of Abraham and lots of other attractions are there if you want to hit the tourist trail. Facilities in the cottage include – a cosy and comfortable lounge with a luxurious suite, mellow pine dining table, gas effect log burning stove, colour T.V. and video, music system, games and books.
