An historic house, once the home of Prime Minister William Lamb, who as Viscount Melbourne gave his name to the Australian city.

The early 18th century formal garden with a Dutch/French plan of fine figures and a celebrated wrought iron 'birdcage' designed by Robert Bakewell are amongst many interesting features. A restaurant and shop are open to visitors.

The Hall is only open to the public in August - the gardens from April to September.
