Details: MATLOCK GOLF CLUB - Celebrating 100 years of play in 2006, Matlock Golf course is a relatively short (6000 yards) but very tricky par 70 moorland layout with far reaching views, superb par 3s and a wind direction that's always 'in your face!' - due to the fact the the course sits almost in a bowl!

Well worth seeking out, mid-week is your best option as play is only permitted at weekends when accompanied by members.

If you par the 5th, 6th, 9th and 16th - all tough par 4s - award yourself a free drink from your playing partner!
