The Peak District's secret Peak District village...Tissington
The village of Tissington is an attractive, secret place situated near Ashbourne towards the south of Derbyshire but still in the Peak District National Park.
Tissington Hall is a Jacobean Manor House owned by Sir Richard Fitzherbert having been in his family for several generations over 400 years.
The archetypal English village comes complete with village pond, ancient church, splendid tea-rooms, butcher's shop and more. Alas, no pub in the village - but don't let that put you off as there are flat cycling trails all around that can help you in your quest!
Many thanks go to Sir Richard Fitzherbert for his assistance in the making of this short film.
