Description of property

This detached cottage is a charming property with a great deal of character. It has an unusual layout as most of the accommodation is on the first floor. All the rooms are stylish and finished to a high standard. The dining area is in the sitting room which is a welcoming space with a wood burner, exposed brickwork and unique circular window. There are three bedrooms tastefully furnished and decorated, one of them having the benefit of an en-suite shower room. The main bathroom has the luxury of a roll top bath, a perfect way to unwind after a busy day. The ground floor has a lovely summer room with patio doors to a central courtyard, with a barbecue and furniture, making this a perfect location for a family holiday.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

We enjoyed the location in the village of Parwich, with access to the pub and small shop. The children especially enjoyed the games room.

,The owners were very welcoming and helpful, taking time to show us round. The villagers of Parwich were very friendly. It was a small, peaceful place to stay. The Roost didn't look very inspiring on the photos but it really is a great place to stay, very comfortable and spacious, a good base for exploring the area.
