The Old Bakery in Chapel-en-le-Frith is a truly superb dog friendly holiday home situated in Chapel en le Frith. This delightful cottage dating from the early 1800s was formerly part of an old bakery which has been completely renovated to a high standard.

Stylishly furnished and decorated, the cottage is warm and cosy with the advantage of a shared enclosed garden to the front with garden furniture in the seating area.

Chapel en le frith is the "Capital of the Peak" and a bustling market town with the square hosting an outdoor market each Thursday, surrounded by various shops, pubs and tea rooms and overlooked by the Parish Church of St Thomas Becket. The Old Bakery forms part of the conservation area surrounding this cobbled Historic Old Town Area of Chapel.

 Nestling in the Peak District National Park, the area is surrounded by excellent footpath walks over hills and moorland, ensuring the perfect destination for the outdoor enthusiast. Attractions in the surrounding area include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Lyme Hall, Castleton in the Hope Valley with its famous Blue John stone and caverns, the market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne and the Spa town of Buxton. Chapel is well served by public transport with excellent bus and train services.
