This is a beautiful detached stone cottage set in the owner’s home grounds in the conservation village of Old Glossop. It is a charming property and offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for two people, perfect for a romantic getaway. The well-equipped kitchen is on open plan with the dining room and the lovely beamed sitting room is restful after a busy day’s sightseeing. The double bedroom is a delightful relaxing haven and there is a light, bright shower room, whilst outside there is a charming enclosed patio garden with garden furniture and barbecue, just the thing for al fresco dining. The access to the cottage is via a footbridge from the roadside parking area, setting the scene for a magical holiday in a stunning location.

Small enclosed patio garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry no smoking. One well behaved pet welcome at charge of £10. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk. Note: The property is accessed via a footbridge from the roadside parking area. This is suitable for wheelchair access.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The cottage is very homely and in a lovely area with plenty to do. The hosts are lovely, so friendly and helpful. We would love to have another holiday in this wee home-from-home.
