River Cottage offers ETC 5 Star (Silver award) b&b accommodation in the lovely Peak District village of Ashford in the Water - perhaps the prettiest in the Peak Park.

With 4 very comfortable rooms (either with en-suite facilities or private bathroom) and a riverside location, guests will enjoy this elegant, mostly 18th century house which sits just a few minutes stroll away from the village with its choice of pubs, restaurants and local shop.

River Cottage makes a superb base for the attractions of the Peak District with Bakewell, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Monsal Head literally a few minutes away by car. For the more energetic, superb walking is available from our doorstep too!

Tariff
Rates are per room, per night and include our renowned breakfasts and all taxes. Rates vary according to room style and facilities.

Summer 2010 rates - from 1st April  
- Double room with en-suite or private bathroom: from £100 per room per night midweek and from £115 at weekends.

Special Winter 2010 rates - up to 31st March 2010 starting again Nov 1st 2010
- Double room with en-suite or private bathroom: from £90 per room per night midweek and from £100 at weekends.

- Single occupancy rates on request

You'll find your room decorated to an exceptionally high standard and offering flat screen television, a great antique French bed and a host of little touches to add to your comfort.

Time for breakfast!
River Cottage offers a range of breakfast options, typically using the best of local produce. For the traditional, cooked to order English breakfast we use local, hand-made sausages, locally cured bacon and delicious free-range eggs.

Our vegetarian options are also locally sourced and for those with a smaller early morning appetite, we offer lighter dishes such as slow cooked French style scrambled eggs and Scottish smoked salmon.

Newly refurbished, River Cottage is just that little bit different. Nestling on the banks of the river Wye in the lovely Peak village of Ashford in the Water - this superior b&b accommodation is well placed to delight its guests at any time of year.
