..it's like taking pictures, only better!

Improve your photography skills with a Peak District photography course...

The Peak District’s stunning landscapes represent one of the most beautiful parts of Britain, and presents photographers of all standards with 555 square miles of golden opportunities.

And maybe the Peak will inspire you to hone your skills further, which is just as well as the Peak District is home to a number of accredited photography courses.

In Focus - formerly known as Simon Watkinson Photo Training - is an Award winning training centre based in an idyllic location within the Peak District National Park, near Longnor.  All courses for In Focus are taught by the award-winning Photographer and Digital Imaging expert Simon Watkinson ABIPP.  Simon has worked in the fields of Photography and Imaging for over twenty five years and was one of the pioneers of the Digital age.  Simon provides first class tuition to all digital photographers who feel that they would benefit from professional guidance, whether complete beginner or advanced professional.

There are a wide range of courses on offer from Digital Imaging (Lightroom and Photoshop), RAW File Workflow (Lightroom) as well as courses in photographic technique and camera use (Beginners, Landscape, Wedding, Portraiture and Overseas).  Many of the courses based on photographic technique and camera use also incorporate Digital Imaging/RAW File Workflow as part of the overall course.  Private Tuition can be arranged in any of the subject areas.
