We are pleased to say that we have a 4 star rating for Bed and Breakfast Accommodation by Visit Britain Quality in Tourism. Prices - Double/twin en-suite from £30-£37.50 pppn. based on two people sharing a room. - Prices include full English breakfast - Special offers are available in the low season - A minimum stay of two nights during bank holidays and most weekends is required. More Information We have two double rooms and one twin which has extra long (6' 6") beds. All three rooms have full en-suite shower rooms, colour TV/DVD players and WiFi internet access as well as coffee and tea making facilities. There is also a tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and radio alarm clock in each room for guests' convenience as well as an information pack which contains details on the local attractions, restaurants and popular walks.  We also have an extensive collection of DVDs which guests may borrow during their stay. Rowsley Rowsley lies at the junction of the rivers Wye and Derwent along the A6 between Matlock and Bakewell. The oldest part of the village dates from the seventeenth century and is part of the Haddon estate, including the former dower house for Haddon Hall which was built in 1652 and is now the Peacock Hotel. The Old Station House was built in 1850 by Joseph Paxton for the station master of the new village railway station. Rowsley is home to Caudwell's Mill, a Grade II listed historic flour mill which is powered by water from the river Wye. Although a flour mill has stood on the site for over 400 years, the present building dates from 1874 and is now a Museum with a shop selling freshly milled flour, the Country Parlour Cafe and a craft centre with workshops including glass making and a blacksmiths. Peak Village, an outlet shopping centre, is also in Rowsley. Rowsley's pub, the Grouse and Claret, is just down the road from The Old Station House and has an extensive menu, while the award winning East Lodge Country House Hotel and Restaurant, a popular wedding venue, is around the corner from the house.
