Whitelee Cottage- sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms
Whitelee Cottage is one of three cottages set in a rural location down a quiet country lane having splendid panoramic views from the grounds of the whole surrounding area with Riber Castle sitting on the horizon overlooking Matlock.
Accessed from the same imposing arch and to your left is the accommodation, and off the main entrance hall is the well fitted and fully equipped kitchen plus a very spacious lounge dining area with a coal effect oil burning stove - it is possible for 10 people to dine together in this cottage. The stairs from the hall lead to the two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the second having two single beds.
An occasional folding bed is available for use. The bathroom consists of bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.
Knabhall Cottage-sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms
Knabhall Cottage is one of three cottages set in a rural location down a quiet country lane having splendid panoramic views from the grounds of the whole surrounding area with Riber Castle sitting on the horizon overlooking Matlock.
You access the accommodation through the imposing stone arch, and to your right the main entrance door leads into the hall, off which is the kitchen, which is well fitted with all the essential equipment you will require for your stay.
A further door leads through into the lounge dining area with its welcoming oil coal effect burning stove set in a stone surround.
Off this room is the third bedroom which has been adapted and is suitable for people with disabilities or a mobility problem, having two single beds and its own en-suite bathroom with shower, hand basin and toilet.
The stairs from the main hall lead to the two remaining bedrooms, exposed beams giving each room character, one having a double bed the other having two single beds.
The main bathroom on this floor has a bath, hand basin and toilet.
Stayley Cottage-sleeps 8
The accommodation enjoys some splendid views across the surrounding countryside. The barn has a private garden with paved patio sitting out area and lawn to the front, and has the additional benefit of the majority of the accommodation being at ground level, making it suitable for people with mobility problems.
The main entrance leads into the spacious lounge dining area, which also has an oil effect coal burning stove, Off this room down a single step is a bedroom with two single beds.
Opposite this room is the main bathroom with bath, hand basin and toilet. A staircase from the lounge leads to the open plan galleried landing area off which there is a bedroom with double bed. From the loungeand off a short corridor is the kitchen which is well equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay.
There are two remaining bedrooms one with two single beds, vanity unit, en suite shower and toilet, the second with double bed, en suite shower and toilet and external door access.
It should be noted that Knabhall, Whitelee and Stayley Cottage can be booked together – it is possible for up to 10 guests to dine together in one of the cottages.
Excellent walks exist in all directions from the property. Gardens, grounds and sitting out areas are shared for both cottages.
