Baslow is brilliant too! It’s a traditional Peak District village in the hills close to Bakewell and walking distance of Chatsworth. Sit in the peace of the garden with far reaching views over Calver, Stoney Middleton and towards Eyam.

Visit the “sell everything” store or the local sweet shop. Enjoy walks straight from the door out on to the grit stone edge with circular walks through Chatsworth along the edges and beyond. The village has 4 pubs and several fine resturants.

Further afield Haddon Hall, Eyam Hall, Bakewell, the National Tramway Museum, the Heights of Abraham and lots of other attractions are there if you want to hit the tourist trail.

Facilities in the cottage include – a large comfortable lounge with a luxurious suite, seperate dining room, colour T.V. dvd and video, music system, games, books and a second TV is the master bedroom.

A beautiful fitted kitchen, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and automatic washer/dryer. Upstairs you are welcomed by oak floors, an attractive large double bedroom with en-suite,  A large twin bedroom. A downstairs bathroom with bath/shower over and W.C.  Outside there is storage for bikes and other equipment. The rear garden is totally enclosed.

Linen, towels, central heating and power are provided. Welcome pack. A cot and high chair can be requested. There is a large flagged area at the front of the cottage which has the morning sun . The sunny rear patio with furniture and barbeque make a wonderful location to watch the sun set over the Peak District hills. Off road parking is at the front of the barn. Pets are welcome by arrangement.
