Hobbs Cafe serves delicious hot and cold food, freshly prepared in the kitchens using local produce. The menu includes home made soups, sandwiches, fresh salads, home made cakes, clotted cream teas, Derbyshire oatcakes and, of course, Bakewell puddings.
The drinks menu includes everything you’d expect from a contemporary café - freshly ground espresso coffees, a good selection of teas, freshly made milk shakes and real fruit smoothies, fabulous beers from the Thornbridge brewery and wines by the glass or bottle.
There are three separate and distinctly different seating areas inside with log fires in winter and room for over 50 inside, and another 50 outside in the gardens, all offering fantastic views across Monsal Dale to Brushfield and Cressbrook.
