Built in 1747 (to which its date-stone testifies) is said to be the most attractive and original house in the village of Elton.
This lovely grade II listed Georgian farmhouse has changed little since it was built. Vaulted ceilings, mullioned windows, flagstone floors, original fireplaces and oak beams everywhere make this a rare example of a George 2nd farmhouse divided into 2 holiday homes:
The 2/3 on the right and the original 17th century wing at the rear being this property and provides 2 good-sized bedrooms, 1 double and 1 double plus single bed sleeping up to 5 guests in total. The accommodation is ideal for families or 2 couples sharing.
For the most part, the house is furnished with period antiques but has all the comforts of modern living; lovely bathroom with corner bath and electric shower, washing machine/dryer, patio with good-sized lawned garden. Private parking available.
