ANCESTRAL BARN - ETC 5 stars (sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms)
Our ancestral barn infuses charm and character with beamed ceilings and panelled walls. The barn is filled with antiques, has polished floors and richly coloured rugs. The lounge has a glorious open range fireplace and antique furniture. Three bedrooms (one accessible for the mobile disabled downstairs) feature splendid canopy beds that are the very essence of comfort and luxury. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, two with showers, and the master bedroom has a roll top bath. Go on treat yourselves, just walk, talk, relax, and soak up the peace of our delightful countryside and return to laze around a roaring fire.

CHURCH FARM COTTAGE - ETC 4 stars Gold Award (sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms)
Gold Award winning cottage originally formed part of our main farmhouse which is Grade II listed, dating from around the 16th century and was featured in the "Period Living and Traditional Home" magazine.
The cottage is lovingly restored and beautifully converted to a very high standard. It is full of character with many original features of interest. As you enter the main hall there is a stone flagged floor and beamed ceiling. To the left is a fitted kitchen/dining room, also with a beamed ceiling, a gritstone fireplace, window seat and a quarry-tiled floor. Off the hall is the second bathroom with a shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.
The L-shaped lounge has a full-beamed ceiling and sandstone fireplace, inset with an old black range for those cosy open fires. You will find many needlework pictures done by Sue, and hand worked embroidery.
There are polished floorboards throughout, covered with richly coloured rugs, which add considerably to the charm and tradition. The main bedroom includes a king-size canopy bed and wonderful open views across the surrounding countryside. The second bedroom has two good-sized 3'6" single beds. Both bedrooms are decorated to a high standard. The main bathroom consists of a bath, hand basin and toilet. The cottage has a secure private cottage garden.
We provide duvets, linen and towels. The cottage has oil-fired central heating and electricity - all included. There is a cooker, fridge, a washer/drier, microwave, colour TV, free wifi, cots and high chair, garden furniture, external lighting, private gardens and parking. We accept pets by arrangement.

Church Farm is farmed organically using no pesticides and fertilizers and its special landscape is being preserved for future generations.

Attractions and great days out for all the family to enjoy in and around the Peak District. From beautiful and very grand stately homes - Chatsworth House is just a must see to donkey sanctuaries, stone henges, delightful dales, splendid estates, theme parks, ancient caverns and caves, fabulous farm shops and more.
The Peak District offers something special for everyone from great Derbyshire pubs to visit, beautiful and historic Derbyshire churches and of course the ancient tradition of Well Dressings.
