Outstanding views down the Combs Valley and up to Castle Naze and Combs Moss. Situated in the Peak District National Park, Britain's first National Park with its moors, fields and woodlands with an abundance of wildlife.

Old traditions thrive from dressing wells and springs in celebration of water, to sheepdog trials and agricultural shows.

Furnished to a high standard, the cottage sleeps 2/4, has full central heating, fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer.

Dining area with stable door to garden and patio. Shower room and toilet. Staircase to lounge with a colour TV and double bed settee and separate double bedroom, both with superb views.

Bed linen and towels are supplied.
Convenient parking for 2 cars.

The cottage is available all year round for any length of stay.

Surrounding area
Situated near Kinder Scout and Edale (the bottom of Pennine Way) there's lots to do, both indoors and outdoors from painting varied flora or photographing orange sunsets over rugged peaks to long distance path walks, scaling rock faces, a round of golf or angling.

Within easy driving distance are the great houses of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Kedleston Hall, Lyme Hall (TV's Pride and Prejudice location) and others.

The Spa town of Buxton (the highest market town in England) is only three miles away with its famous Opera House featuring a varied programme throughout the year.

Renowned for its Buxton Festival fortnight with its opera and fringe concerts and the annual International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival.

The Labyrinth of Limestone
Also nearby can be found the labyrinth of limestone caved dressed with stalactites and stalagmites and where the prized stone Blue John is mined exclusively.
