All open plan, Cinder Cottage is very welcoming and has a lovely sitting area with an electric woodburner-effect stove. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen and dining table. Cinder Cottage sleeps two in one double bedroom and a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Cinder Cottage offers wonderful countryside views, a front patio with furniture and roadside parking is available at the front of the cottage. Cinder Cottage is conveniently positioned to many amenities. Holmfirth offers many walks and is ideally located to both the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Pricing information

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

After a long journey, we arrived to find 4 fresh scones in a tin with a welcome note from the owner and she had also put milk, jam & clotted cream in the fridge. There was also salt & pepper in the grinders, and the cooking tins/pans utensils all looked like new. It was perfect, a really high standard. The cottage was well equipped with a box file of places of interest, walks etc.

So comfortable, clean and very tastefully furnished. The owner made us very welcome and had lovely fresh scones awaiting us.
