The cottage has been restored sympathetically to a high standard and features a well equipped and fitted kitchen with a dining area. The sitting room is a cosy, comfortable room with a wood burner, making it a warm and relaxing space in which to unwind. There are two tranquil double bedrooms and a bright modern bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside the house has a lawned garden with a patio area and garden furniture. The local amenities are just a minute’s walk away, and with so many activities and attractions nearby, this cottage is a great base for exploring the area.

Full oil fired central heating throughout with additional heating from woodburning stove in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, colour TV, DVD, CD player/cassette/radio etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample roadside parking available. Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. One well behaved dog welcome at a charge of £10 by prior arrangement. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 min walk.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,We loved our cottage in the most picturesque part of the Peak District. We enjoyed being able to send the children to the shop without worrying about them crossing a road. The village is very quiet and the locals were very friendly. The Fish and Chip shops and pubs were very handy after walking in the hills. Loads of walks right from the village.
