Chelmorton videos

...a taster of 'Chelly' in HD

2011 Chelmorton video in full HD. Over 2 minutes of village highlights, scenery and a sneak preview of the Bronze Age burial mounds atop Chelmorton Low.

Chelmorton is often described as linear - a village of one street. Chelmorton's one main street trundles up to the elegant 13th century parish church of St John the Baptist, built into the hillside and said to be the country's highest church.

The stream trickling down from Chelmorton Low and through the heart of the village goes by the charming name of Illy Willy Water.

Two Bronze Age burial mounds can be found at the summit of Chelmorton Low, alongside several other prehistoric monuments in the area, lending Chelmorton an air of historical importance.

One village, one street, one church, and one pub - the delightful Church Inn, seving fine real ales and good food while also offering four star bed & breakfast accommodation.

Our all-new 2011 full HD Chelmorton video will give you a taste of the village - we hope you enjoy the show!
