The Holiday Cottages
Spring House Farm is situated in a secluded and tranquil spot, set back half a mile from the Hope - Castleton road. The two holiday cottages are located in an attractive Grade II listed courtyard. Each cottage is fully equipped, has Wi-Fi access and provides an ideal base to explore the delights of the Peak District.
There are fabulous views from the cottages to Mam Tor - the Peak District's famous 'shivering mountain’ and to Lose Hill. Each cottage has a private garden or patio area of its own and ample covered parking.
There is direct access from the doorstep over the fields to the villages of Hope and Castleton or, directly to Lose Hill ridge dropping down into Edale, making this the perfect base for walkers and ramblers.
It's not often a train journey is worth writing home about, but the nearby Hope Valley Line is one of those rare exceptions!
Shippon Cottage is a spacious 19th Century shippon (dairy) converted into a romantic luxury cottage for two complete with a four-poster bed. It has lovely views to Lose Hill. The cottage also has a sofa bed as well as the option of extra beds or cots for children and infants. Well behaved dogs are welcome in Shippon Cottage.
Harry Eyre Cottage is a 17th Century farm cottage totally refurbished into a luxury holiday cottage in 2010 mixing traditional features with modern comforts including a wood burning stove. This cottage has fabulous views of Mam Tor - Derbyshire's famous 'shivering mountain'. It sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Well behaved dogs are welcome in Harry Eyre Cottage.
