OPEN: Our touring & camping site always opens the weekend before Easter and closes on the first Sunday in November. The holiday cottages are open throughout the year.
The focal point of the Holiday Park is the old farmhouse, which has been extended and converted into an Olde English Inn serving real ale brewed at our own "Haywood Brewery", and a selection of home made food.
The Inn is the meeting point to relax in the evenings with other holidaymakers or simply to unwind and enjoy a family meal in the adjoining, integral family room.
Bird watching enthusiasts can also use our bird hide and fishing on our on site course fishing pond. Course fishing is available on site at our Haywood Farm Lake. Catches of between 50lb and 80lb per session have regularly been recorded. We have tench up to 7lb, Roach in excess of 2lb, Perch to 3 1/2lb and a good head of Rudd and Crucian Carp.

Surrounding area
The park itself although in an elevated position, is very flat and with lush green, closely grown grass and sheltered by a perimeter of high hedgerows which house a variety of bird life.
There are numerous picturesque walks that lead from Callow Top and follow the course of the River Dove running right into the heart of Dovedale, where you can cross the river upon large stepping stones.
The river and the trails then continue their passage onto the manifold valley. Less than 500 yards from the park is the now famous Tissington Trail on which you can cycle or walk over twenty miles. This joins up with other trails that allow you to peacefully explore the calm natural scenic beauty of the Derbyshire Dales, valleys and hilltops.
Within easy reach of Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton making the perfect base for exploring Derbyshire and the Peak District. Alton Towers is just 20 mins drive away.
