The accommodation
The rooms at this grand Peak District hotel are spacious and individually furnished. In addition to the 'Master Suite' a luxurious four poster bedded room, there are six double / twin bedrooms with their own en suite bathrooms, and two single rooms sharing an adjoining bathroom. All have a colour T.V and tea making facilities.

The Apartments
30 yards from the main house is a recently converted 18th century stone building, comprising of five self-contained 'Studio' apartments and one 2-bedroomed suite, each with private bathrooms. They have many amenities, such as colour T.V., silent fridge and tea making facilities. Guests have the use of all the facilities of the main house.

The Bothy
The bothy is situated between the apartments and the main house; rooms have the same amenities as the apartments.

From January 2nd - 29 March and October 28th - December 23rd we include with our compliments for bookings of two or more nights:

Full English Breakfast and Porridge. Start the day with a warming bowl of porridge made with the finest Scottish oats to a 17th century recipe, followed by a sizzling plateful of egg, bacon, suasage, tomatoes and mushrooms, or kippers if you prefer.

Packed Lunch. When the bracing winter air has burned up your breakfast stop to stoke up with freshly made wholemeal sandwiches of your choice, and fruit.

Gluhwein each evening. Sitting around the blazing log fire in the evening, let a glass of Gluhwein add to the warm healthy glow which comes from a day in the Dales.
