Conveniently located in a quite back street close to the facilities of the charming Peak District market town of Bakewell. It is a pleasant five minute level stroll to the centre of town which offers excellent local amenities. It has beams and vaulted ceilings, modern facilites and private parking for one car in the owners grounds.
There is undercover storage for bicycles.
There are pleasant local walks from BARN COTTAGE by the River Wye, the local countryside and the Monsal Trail, all on the doorstep. It also a short drive to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, or an interesting walk if you prefer.
There are Italian, Indian, traditional Derbyshire restaurants and gastro pubs within easy walking or short driving distance of BARN COTTAGE.
Bakewell
Bakewell offers the visitor an excellent base from which to explore the Peak District. It has a wonderful selection of interesting villages, with history, in close proximity to visit.
