The cottages have spectacular views overlooking the Hope Valley in the Peak District National Park.

These stone built cottages are located around an 18th century farmhouse on Win Hill, with a panoramic view over the Hope Valley and across to Castleton and its famous caverns and historic castle.

The Cottages
Ash Cottage is a charming three storey cottage which sleeps up to eight people in four bedrooms.

There is an open plan lounge on the ground floor, with a dining and kitchen area. On the first floor there is a double bedroom and one with bunk beds, plus a bathroom with WC, basin and bath with fitted shower.

On the second floor there is another double room and a twin room with an airing cupboard.

Birch Cottage is essentially the same as Ash Cottage, with both sharing a lawned garden.

Do you need a larger cottage? No problem!

Ash and Birch are usually let as separate cottages, but a normally locked interconnecting door can be opened to link the two together to accommodate sixteen people in eight bedrooms.

Chestnut Cottage is a spacious two storey cottage which can sleep up to six.

There is a lounge and a separate kitchen area on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a double and a twin room, and a bathroom with shower, WC, hand basin and bath.

Ideal for four people, but if required the comfortable bed-settee in the lounge can be used to sleep two more guests.

Elm Cottage is a pretty two storey cottage with two bedrooms sleeping four people, with a bed-settee in the lounge which can accommodate another two if required, and which is similar to Chestnut Cottage.

The shared Utility Room has a tumble drier, washing machine, pay phone and additional freezer space. Boots, wellingtons and waterproofs can be stored and dried in here if required.

All the cottages offer a high level of comfort, are centrally heated and provided with bed linen, towels, crockery, fridge freezer, TV video and radio cassette, microwave oven and electric cooker.

Cots and high chairs are available on request. There is a shared utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier, additional freezer space and a payphone.

Surrounding area
All around there is superb walking country, and the wide choice of sightseeing opportunities includes Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton Spa and the famous Blue John Caverns in nearby Castleton.

We are open all year round, normally for week long holidays in the summer and for weekend and midweek breaks outside the main holiday season.

We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs or other pets.

We are now offering midweek breaks from Monday to Friday, either for a relaxing short holiday, or with a total of up to 28 beds in the four cottages this is the ideal location for a real 'away from the office' group session.
