Location
Perfect for a walking break or holiday - Little Longstone is an ancient linear village with one of the tiniest churches you'll find anywhere. The Packhorse Inn (5 minute stroll) is an unspoilt and charming, characterful pub that welcomes muddy boots, dogs and even paying customers! The Monsal Dale hotel is even closer and very popular with tourists due to its location at the head of one of the most photographed disused railway lines in the world at Monsal viaduct.

Great Longstone is just along the road and features 2 excellent pubs, both of which serve good pub food and a range of Robinson's beers - The Crispin Inn and The White Lion.

Provisions, newspapers (and everything else!) can be purchased at old-fashioned Casey's shop - and Fred Mellor the long-serving village butcher can assisit you with your fresh meat requirements too - ideal for the summer BBQs!
