Full details: Sheldon House Farm is a new, small campsite (prices from just £4 per night) for 2008 and is located 1300ft up on Grindon Moor in the Staffordshire Moorlands surrounded by the glorious Peak District National Park scenery. New toilet and shower block now completed with hot showers and very good quality facilities now in place.

2008 Tariff
Caravans - £10 per night for 2 people + £3.00 for electric.
Tents - £4 per person per night
Dogs welcome according to countryside control requirements.

Only small numbers of campers will be able to take advantage of the site to begin with. Hardstandings and electric hook-ups are available as is a plentiful supply of clean mains water on the camping field and a washout facility for emptying waste from cassette toilets.

The shower and toilet block is a short distance away in the main building and includes a washer/dryer facility.

Sheldon House Farm is located at 1300ft with spectacular and uninterrupted views in all directions towards Alton, Morridge Top, Hartington and Ashbourne.

We are 1.3 miles from the Manifold Track - a key walking attraction of the area (and with good access for wheelchair users too). Public houses with good quality food are available within 1 mile at both Butterton and Onecote.

Alton Towers, Ashbourne and Leek are all within 15 minutes drive. The campsite is well placed for a relaxing break with great walks and cycling opportunites everywhere too. Sheldon House Farm Campsite offers affordable Peak District accommodation for all the family and groups of friends too.
