Full details: Welcome to the Maynard Arms hotel with a choice of 10 ensuite bedrooms. With a reputation for fine food and quality accommodation, the Maynard is situated in the heart of the Peak National Park and has fine views of the Derbyshire Hills.

Each of our bedrooms offers remote control colour TV, satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press and direct dial telephone and modem facility.

For a special treat, stay in one of our four-poster rooms, or for something a little different - one of our two roomed suites, the adjoining private lounges have video and CD players.

The Maynard couldn't be more conveniently situated - it's an ideal base from which to discover the Derbyshire countryside.

Nearby places of interest include Chatsworth House, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, the town of Bakewell, famous for the Original Bakewell Pudding and Ladybower reservoir - used by the dambusters in World War II.

Choose from our dinner, bed and breakfast tariff that includes Continental Buffet Breakfast, morning newspaper and dinner in the Padley Restaurant, serving fine food every evening.

Our Longshaw bar is also open at lunch and dinner for hearty meals and real ale. We also have a Bed and Continental Buffet Breakfast tariff.

Dinner, Bed & Continental Buffet Breakfast tariff is available to guests staying for two nights or more. For guests booking accommodation for a Friday and Saturday evening, we offer the Sunday evenings accommodation free of charge (excluding Bank Holiday weekends and subject to availability). Meals, if taken, will be charged extra. Restaurant is closed Sunday Nights, Mondays and Tuesdays.
