More Information
One mile from the historic spa town of Buxton, Barms Farm is located in the very heart of the Peak District, ideally situated for exploring the breathtaking Derbyshire Dales and for visiting the numerous local attractions in the area. The accommodation and facilities are courtesy of the Naden family who have owned the property since the 1930's.

The accommodation
The luxurious B&B accommodation gives freedom of access, with private guest entrance opening into the main hall out of which the staircase leads directly to the three guest rooms.

In the elegantly appointed dining room a choice of freshly cooked breakfasts are served at individual tables. Local produce reared in the Peak District is sourced wherever possible to give a truly tasty start to the day.

The beautifully furnished lounge is the perfect place to relax in comfort after a busy day exploring the surrounding Peaks and Dales. Comprehensive details of visitor attractions, maps, walks and nearby eating places are displayed for you to browse through. Videos showing local beauty spots and Derbyshire ancient customs are available to increase your knowledge on the area. On chillier evenings, logs burning in the traditional inglenook fireplace offer a warm and cosy welcome at the end of your day.

Our three tastefully furnished bedrooms have 'extremely comfortable', romantic King size beds adorned with linen of uncompromising quality. Hospitality tray, remote colour wall mounted LCD flatscreen TV/FM radio, alarm clock/radio, central heating and double glazing are standard in all the rooms.

The pristine, en-suite bathrooms are equipped to the highest standard. Two of the spacious bathrooms have a power shower cubicle as well as a bath. Quality fixtures, fittings and furnishings are complimented by sparkling gold taps and thoughtful touches.

Meticulous attention to detail and guest comfort is of prime importance to the Nadens who have been offering geniune country hospitality and a warm welcome at Barms Farm for over 17 years.

The property is fortunate to have ample, private illuminated car parking.

The location
Enjoy the breathtaking landscape which surrounds you in the Peak National Park. Barms Farm is an ideal base to relax or explore, with excellent surrounding walking country.

Take a short drive and visit Chatsworth House, Castleton Blue John Caves, Bakewell's 'Original Bakewell Pudding Shop', The Potteries, Ashbourne and the Goyt Valley, to name but a few attractions. Buxton annually hosts both the International Operatic Festival and the Gilbert & Sullivan Festival during the months of July and August.
