Information about our static Caravan
Our 28’ Tudor Ambassador Static comprises a double and a twin bedroom. The twin also features an optional drop down bunk, suitable for a child. The dining area can be converted to form a second double bed.

The lounge has a colour TV and gas fire and the kitchen has ample cupboards, sink and drainer, a fridge and gas cooker. A gas heater provides instant hot water. In the bathroom are a flush toilet, washbasin and shower with hot and cold water. The caravan is well cared for and is in good clean condition. Please note that smoking is not permitted in the caravan.

Both gas and electricity are included in the rental. The beds have duvets and pillows. Sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels and tea towels are not provided. A travel cot and high chair are available on loan if required.

There is vehicular access to the caravan via the Limestone Way, an unmade road, but this route can only be used at the discretion and sole risk of the hirer. Private parking, approximately 400 meters from the caravan, is available at the front of our cottage. Access for people with disabilities is difficult.

General information for the Miller's Dale area
Millers Dale is a small tranquil village, surrounded by tree-clad hills, in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. Sit and picnic by the River Wye in Cheedale, explore the Monsal Trail, which meanders down the valley to Bakewell, or enjoy many other fabulous walks in the area.

Miller's Dale was once an important railway junction, where passengers for Buxton joined or left the trains between London and Manchester on the old Midland Railway. The railway was closed in 1964 and Miller's Dale's now provides a home for many wild flowers, birds and butterflies.

Our local, ‘The Anglers Rest’, just down the hill, has a good selection of beers and wines and serves excellent food. Nearby is a small church with services on alternate Sundays. The craft supplies centre runs many woodturning courses and demonstrations throughout the year. The Wriggly Tin cafe at the old station provides welcome refreshment after exploring the area.

There are no shops in Millers Dale but Tideswell, two miles away, provides a good range of shops, restaurants, pubs and churches. Other shops can be found in Buxton (6 miles) or Bakewell (7 miles).
